Within the walls of the medieval town of Laguardia, where there are more than 300 caves, El Fabulista is one of the few wineries that still makes wine in the traditional manner in its spectacular cellars.
This space has been adapted to attract visitors who are captivated by the explanations about its history and about the winemaking process using the traditional carbonic maceration method.
The tour takes visitors to the depths of Palace of the Samaniego family, to the four calados (cellars) that make up the winery and ends with the tasting of wines made in the winery.
Bodega El Fabulista offers its customers who are great enthusiasts of the world of wine the Tour for Enthusiasts. In this case, the tour is hosted by an expert winemaker, oenologist, or sommelier and, in addition to introducing one of the most outstanding medieval wineries in Rioja Alavesa, it will enable our visitors to taste the various wines made by Bodega El Fabulista together with a small aperitif.
We even offer the possibility of tasting the wines made in the winery without having to take the guided tour. Visit us without taking the tour!
